more than super 12

I have six replacement heifers, nine months old, 500 to 600lbs each. I am feeding them a pound (lb) of super 12 a day, and they have all the free hay they want. Super 12 contains trace mineral in it. Do they need any other minerals or supplements.

They still need access to a good loose mineral that is formulated for your area. If you don't know what that is, talk to your county extension office, a reputable feed store, or other cattle people that you know and trust.
