Here are some more recent pics of my steer. He is looking good in my opinion. What do you think, he weighs over 1080 right now, and we will give him his 1st steer implant on Dec 1st

I think your opinion is a good one. He should do well in the ring, and hang a good carcass.
 
I like him. I know the kid with the blaze faced calf plus lke half the people watching that class.

You do this in the ring???

Oh and just a suggestion, I don't know for sure but it looks like from that photo the teeth on the comb are pointing away from you. You might want to turn it around. Less dangerous for your animal and other people.

It's considered good showmanship here to comb the calf if the judge touches him, but you are supposed to have the comb the other way. You don't know how many times I've been run into by a calf that ran into their owners comb.
 
I keep it the prongs towards me, never had a problem. but its just like "do you hold the lead right next to the head or do you leave some slack" everyone does some small things diffrently

it is something you stick under the back of the ear and it slowy reales stuff over a 90 day period that makes them grow a little faster
