They are calling for more snow and I am tired of it
thye are calling for snow for 5 out of the next 7 days and the first round could be up to a ft so that means we might get 18 inches

I have had 3 people call me today wanting to buy hay and then I also got a phone call from a CT member who lives in Northern Mo and said he was sending it all south of him so that means I will get it and not him
I won't mention any names (Plumber Greg) so if I get a foot of snow I am gonna blame it all on HIM because he don't want it because he is calving
I have tried to tell him if he calves in the fall he doesn't have to worry about snow and cold calves but he just won't listen

AC this has been one of the hardest winter on cattle that I ever remember. I calve in Feb. which is a mistake this years. Usually good. it means about 80 lbs in the fall instead of waiting April like most do here. With the snow on the ground have to make sure they are strong and with the heard coyottes are picking up the calves.
Just hope the snow goes on to DC they have the time and get payed well enough to put up with it.

AC, radar doesn't show much activity right now... :?: But the radar didn't show any activity Wednesday when our guessers were hollering rain.... but that was mostly becasue it slipped up and in the back door where I wasn't looking (havn't been watching the tropical maps). You are kind of out their in the middle where it can't sneak up on your so someone must be looking that low over the 4-corners to get cracking.

Kenny,
Glad you didnt get blasted by the snow storm. I am in Elkridge (outside Baltimore), MD for a few days and we got 30 plus inches last night and today. Cars in the parking lot at the hotel are completely covered with the drifts. I am supposed to head back home to Mo. Wednesday and they are calling for another foot or more on Tuesday night, here. Hope you don't get damaging weather

We'll see what kinda tune he is singing come monday nite I just talked to an ol hillcountry medicine woman and she said for a small price that she could make that snow storm move North and stop right up there in the NW corner of Missouri for days, said it could even Snow several feet on ol PG for wishin that snow on us southerners

She said If I didn't believe her look at what she did to Washington DC and the Big O and all them Global warming folks out east :o

If that happens, at least I got my cows trained to only calve on good days. Everyone's else's calves on bad weather days, but it's been said that us in No. Mo. are backwards. gs

I heard you were the cow whisperer or something like that gettin all them cows trained I even heard that your cows are so smart that if the weather is bad they go let themselves in the barn to calve so you don't have to get out and hunt for their calves in a snowbank

I just looked out the back door getting ready to go out. Dannnnng you, it's spitting snow. What kind of witch doctors do hillbillies know? gs
