So I bought a 50 acre Deep Fork river bottom hay field in 2011.

2011/2012 were historically dry years in Oklahoma. I got a total of 275 bales off the 50 acres the last two seasons. So far this year, I've baled 304 bales and likely will still get one more cutting before the season is over.

My problem is this is a year when everybody has hay. So I've got about 125 really good 4x5.5 round hay bales that I don't need and I can't find a buyer for. I guess I'll have to hold it over to feed a year from now and just sell more than I usually would in 2014.

From a cash flow perspective, that kind of stinks this year. I guess it will make next summer better...

Talk about going from famine to feast....

What kind of grass is it ?
Hay is still high around here, dickens, guthrie, paducah, childress that i know of but im sure its a bigger area than that
if its good hay and you can deliver I don't see a problem selling it

Edit
You may already know but there is a website to list hay for sale
I have it on my computer but I'm on my phone, I'll try and look for it later

Southern Colo and Southwest Ks are still pretty drouthy. I bet you could fine a market there!
