We always feed them at least 90-120 days, depending on the quality of the calf. Many folks wean way before that but we get them really going good.

I hate doing it period. I normally give em 1 bag of replacer. Occasionaly I'll go another half. Most of the time if I give the extra half of a bag, its mixed in with their grain.
