I've got 33 calves I 'm weaning. They were weaned on 9/15/14 then worked a week later. Alpha7 w/ MB-1 , Inforce 3 Nasal and poured. They were fed Cargill Transition medicated for a week now are on Cargill 16% pellet and good free choice hay. About a week ago they were turned out to a patch of brome/native pature. Yesterday I noticed on of the older/bigger steers hanging away from the herd in the corner with his head down and ears drooping. He seems to be a little slobbery also. So I caught him right away and pumped him full of LA 300 and Vitamin B. Later on in the day he was acting slightly better and trying to eat. Any opinions would be appreciated. I have some stronger drugs but, I didn't have them down at the farm. How long would you wait to treat him with something stronger? Thanks B&G
