My new pasture seeding came in a bit thin with very little grass in it. It is over 50% red clover that grew up almost waist high and then lodged... :o
We are grazing it now with out any tits up cows, but I was really nervous the first day. They eat the leaves off the chicory, some the the heads off the Canada thistle, and just pound the red clover down.
It is too wet to hay, but it looks like we are building soil. :cboy: Now if I just had some sheep or goats to eat the stalks.
