Mixing intructions

i got a package of Durvet eletrolytes(8oz) and the directions don't make sense, does anybody know how to mix the electrolytes in 1 gallon of water for calves?

FOR: Automatic Proportioners delivering 1-ounce stock solution per gallon of drinking water. Dissolve 1 package (8oz)per gallon of stock solution.
For: Drinking water. dissolve 1/2 package in 55 gallons or 1 pkg in 110 gallons . Always mix fresh solutions daily.



What i want to know is , how much should i mix in one gallon of water to feed my calf with
