Mixing feed help

If I have 1000 lbs of soy beans at 40% protein and 2000 lbs of 10% oat hay mixed together to make feed what would be the feed ratio per pound. Trying to seee how much protein

20% crude protein if the mix is perfect.
 
Technically you are correct. When you convert a number to percent the decimal has to be moved. Haven't had to show my work since 5th grade. I need to keep the audience in mind when I post.

Thought it might be helpful to show someone HOW to do it instead of asking.

No just do it correctly. A lot of difference in .20% and 20%. ;-)
