I promised Little HOSS that when he turned 6 he could shoot the SKS. He has pestered me for weeks about it so I relented and let him shoot it now even though he wont be six until October. He shot the crap out of a rotten stump at about 50 yards. He would burn through my ammo stash if I let him. He was insistent that I let him deploy the bayonet during his trigger time. I let him shoot it by himself from shooting sticks. Recoil is not a factor. He never flinched. I will step him up to a shotgun soon.

He has already asked if he can inherit the SKS :mrgreen: I'm thinking that a Barrett .50 would make a good Christmas card prop. I am sure he would agree too.
 
I hope he wasn't too upset when you told him you had already promised it to me. BTW - Ever thought about taking up extreme rock climbing or sky diving?

Here is picture of "The Bug". I think really saw some potential to have some real fun with this.

That there is a hog hunting extreme machine. It would give those helicopter hunters in Texas a real thrill :shock: There is something about powerful machines with powerful weapons attached to it that just makes a body feel good.
