That reminds me...over a year ago, me and some colleagues were getting some beginner-experience on AIing and preg-checking, and our instructor was giving us a bit of a lecture/story of "what to look for" when preg-checking. His story went something like this:

"THere was a lady doing some preg-checking on a line of cows before they were to be auctioned off, and some cowboys thought up of a prank to throw a bull in there just for the heck of it, see if she noticed. Of course she didn't, and she stuck her had in up the bull's arse and announed that "she" (the bull) was pregnant, much to the cowboys' mirth and delight. (Of course she found out her mistake later and didn't do preg-checking for that particular auction place again)."

"So," said the instructor, "remember the preg-checking finger rule. Two fingers - cow: One finger - bull"

After we'd done our "AIing", feeling for the cervix, and preg-checking, and were walking out the barn, our instructor suddenly, out of the blue, asked us: "So....did anyone see the bull in there?" (....with a straight face of course... ;-) )

Took us a while to let that sink in and come up with a, "There- was-no-bull-in-there!" response. :roll: ;-)
 
That's a good story Dun. If that happened to me, I think I'd have to move cause I don't think I could ever live it down.
 
No, I just need to read a little closer. Every now and then when I don't, I end up sticking my foot in my mouth. :oops:

Well that's a relief. Don't worry, i get caught the same way, but at least i always remember to check past and see who's posting.
