Where can I go to get information on building a small milking parlor for educational purposes. They have a big push on Agri Tourism and educational exhibits. I would like to create an atmosphere where I can milk two cows, and then have exhibits on making cream, butter, ice cream, cheese etc. Any suggestions.

Extension AGent/State Dept. of AG/Local Coop or do a web search for a Delaval dealer and they just may fix you up since it's for educational purposes, that is if you don't charge for your services. We have thought several times about a petting/observation zoo of sorts but, the liability is way too great to lose the whole thing over one kid getting hurt
