Milk scour scald

This is a first for me..calf had some milk scours, mama wasn’t cleaning him very well and she is a heavy milker. It rained and his butt was clean the following day (3 days ago). Today I see this scalded naked butt. Otherwise he is doing well, no more obvious scouring. Just watch?

He’s clean, not sure I could catch him often enough to put something quick absorbing like lanolin on more than once a day at most. Just hadn’t had this issue before.

That skin looks pretty healthy now, I'm sure it will continue to heal on its own.

I had that once, but it was in the summer, and my main concern was flies. I'd occasionally spray his behind with Catron and he healed just fine.
