I'm north of Russellville and I sprigged 8 acres of Midland 99 last spring. It didn't completely cover last summer but I found it to spread a little faster than Tifton 44. If we continue to get some rain I think it will take off after the first cutting this year. The fellow I bought the spriggs from also has Tifton 44 and Ozarka, he told me he's having problems with some kind of root disease in his Tifton 44 and did not recommend it. He's up around Walnut Ridge, Ar.
