This baler does not have a kicker and we have used it very seldom over the last 10 to 12 years, probably not at all in the last 4. It has always been shedded, the tieing has a mind of its own. Before we got it, it was used on my husbands parents dairy farm.

Scrap steel is $70/ton...scrap or sell? But I don't have any idea what it is worth...anybody else have an idea?

any sq baler that will make bales ought to be worth at least
$800 min. too many people wanting to bale 4-5 acre patchs not get that much anyways. This is one that will bale no problem but might look like the pits. If it drops every 5th bale well it's not worth as much.
Didn't Hesston make the MF baling equipment? Are parts still available? Are the tires good enough to road? How bad is the bale chamber rusted? Was it baling when you put it up? ask $400 as is and be prepared to take salvage price if they will haul it off.

Thanks dj for giving me some guideline to go by. No rush at the moment for it to leave. Just making some spring clean-up plans and the garage it is stored in, we want to tear down. Maybe after tax season I'll get a pic up of it and I can get a better idea of what it may be worth. Thanks again!
