Bean curd. It looks sort of like Mozzarella cheese. It's a good source of protein. Always found in 'Hot-and-Sour' soup, high on the list of protein sources for vegetarians. Bland in flavor, will absorb the flavors of whatever it happens to be 'soaking in or cooked in.
I tried raising those tofu's. dang things won't come when you call em , just sit out there in the middle of the pasture and jiggle , cowbirds don't even like em , they'd rather eat bugs and poop.
