Massey 461

We have a relatively new Massey tractor 461. It ran a little low on fuel and a low fuel light came on in the gauge. We shut it down and filled it up, now the light is on and the gauge isn't working. Any ideas what's up with this? I have checked the fuses and all are intact.

I had the float stick on a 7610 last year when I let it get too low. No light but guage acted just like you are describing, once it got down to a half tank it straightened out.
