Marketing...Community Supported Ag...thoughts

We have been looking into the Community Supported Ag programs to market our beef...the programs are set up for produce mainly but can they be effective for beef.
We currently sell shares in live animals and broker the processing through a local butcher. I like the idea of up front money with the CSA programs but how does the paper work look tomake it happen.
Any thoughts would be appreciated...looking for more profitable ways of moving the cattle. Our current method takes alot of time working the customer base.

the best source for that info I would suspect would be your local extension office, those are the folks that got our local CSA, and co-op started.

Best part about it, as THEY explained ..... its free to us, and gives them job security in uncertain times such as these. :cboy:
