I think the primary subject of this may be related to new legislation in India. They recently passed laws, at the behest of Big Tech and Big Ag. From what I can tell the laws try to make them look like how we farm over here. GMO, data driven, harvest purchased by Big Ag. Get big or get out.
The Indian laws took them from where we were a generation or two ago, and brought them into our world. The little farmer over there can't cope with a leap that big.
