TB ive been watching the dairy sale #s for the last 2yrs.and if i was still running the dairy i doubt if i could get any good fresh heifers there anymore.id be buying a pot load ever so often.

Seldom bought at sales. We always raised replacements. Much better genetics and knew what we had. Too many games go on at sale barns, both beef and dairy. I can afford it at the beef "game" but too much at risk buying dairy cattle of unknown quality...that has caused the failure of many a dairy in East Texas.

Livingston sells horses, mules, burros, sheep, goats, and just about anything else that comes in on 4 legs.
Never saw it, but heard they ran some emus thru back in 2011.
AFAIK tho, they neither sell or rent pigs.

That thing went quick. Geez people are grabbing up any calf thats not nailed down these days. The calf was a week old if I remember correct and 250 bucks
