The grass I have on my new lease is very plentiful but has already headed out. In your opinion what is the best course of action to maximize the growth. Should I clip it now or wait till this fall? If I clip it how short should I go? Thanks.

Depends on the kind of grass and the weather. If it's CSG and the weather is cool, clip it so that you cut about an inch off the top of the grass blades. Or you can just turn the cows in and let them stomp it and eat the good stuff.
