took my mother in law (no jokes please) to get her daily radiation treatment today, as always my 7 month old border collie jumped in the back seat of my truck like always she laid down without a sound! made the 45 minute trip to the radioligist got there rolled the windows down a couple of inches to give her fresh air (8:00 a m ) so i wasn't real worried about heat!! escorted mom, into the dr office, sat and waited for her treatment to be over (about 15 minutes) escorted her out to my truck, looked in and no SERRIA (COLLIES'S )name
drove around the whole complex looking and yelling her name for over an hour granmny was crying (not me i am a man) but had a reall sick stomach , asked any one i saw if they had seen her no no no no getting a very bad feeling in my stomach (no tears yet)
i decided to rush home and get on the putor to make up flyers about her!
all the while driving home i was thinking about her( how could she have gotten out , who stole her etc etc)
i was just pulling into my drive way when it hiit me!!!!
after loading graniny in the truck and watching serria jump in the back seat i had to get out and get my truck keys from the house, (i can't go anywhere she doesne't follow)
is she in the house???? i quicky parked and without waiting for granny opened the front door
yep there she sat! a little angry at me for leaving her
whew whew
i wont adm,it to my eyes getting wet and if any one says they did i wiill totally deny it, but believe me it was sweet relief, was to happy to see her to scold!!!
anyway a happy ending :D :D :D :D :D :D

I know the feeling...years ago I turned the clothes washer on and then realized that I couldn't find our kitten anywhere! (Was one of those front loader types, and he could've jumped in there easily.) Stopped the washer, unloaded the soggy mess, afraid I'd find a drowned kitty, only to turn around and see him sitting in the doorway wondering why all those wet clothes were on the floor. Big relief.

hard not to get attached to some of those little critters!
alls well that ends well in this case and yours!! :D :D
