Never used ML and won;t use anything with CC in it's background. We used him one year. The good part was that those were the most vigorous calves I've ever seen, up and trying to nurse sometimes before the cow was even back on her feet, it was amazing. All of the calves were excesively fat and wasty. We had never had a YG 5 before, all of his calves were. We ate one heifer that had been on grain, about 1 1/2% nody weight andd pasture for 45 days. She had 2 1/2 inches of back fat.
Not my cup of tea, plus I've heard the horror storys about calving difficulties in his daughters.
