Some of the folks in North FL. had 20 inches of rain in a 24 hour period. And Gizmon Farms is down there also. Good luck to y'all down there in N. FL. hope all is well.

I'm Good we only got 4" and a 10th last night and still raining pretty good. Over toward GIZMOM is where they had 20 + inches. Bean up since about 2:30 with my phone went bezerk with tornado warnings. on my drive in I only seen flooding no trees downs.

.
I'm in the market for some GOPHER WOOD if anybody has some.

snapped this pic this morning. this area has swelled another 20 to 30 feet. I have never seen this much water on this place. the ponds have connected thru the woods in the background. you could put a canoe in here at the road and never get out going NW for 2 miles. I help a neighbor get a cow out of the mud yesterday afternoon. I have shut off my cows from 2 different areas and have 12 acres that's not under water in this field. the last time it rained this much in the spring in the 80s. when it quit we had one of the worse droughts we have ever had.

M5, glad you're doing alright and hope you don't run out of pasture before this is all over.

Any idea how bad Crestview got it. I haven't been able to find much info this morning about anywhere other than Pensacola.

Thanks M5. I think maybe I'll give my Mom a call later this morning.
Yeah, Pensacola looks pretty bad. :frowns:
Weather said it's moving east but not letting up at all, and more on the way.
I know moisture is good, but not this much....

here is an update I found

CRESTVIEW
The Mayor of the City of Crestview has issued a State of Emergency in the Crestview area due to the continued flooding, and storm damage as a result of the current storms.

All drivers must obey roadblocks and barricades, as roadways that have these placed on them are considered unsafe. There is a high risk of injury or death for those that breach barricades in an attempt circumvent the detours.

If citizens have an emergency, or are trapped in vehicles, we are asking them to dial 911 immediately. If you have question, information or concerns, please contact the Crestview Police Department dispatch center at 850-682-2055.

Thank you again! Her phone is probably out but I'll try anyway.

Is Mobile too far for temp pasture for you?
I might have some options for you there, I could make a couple of phone calls to check it out?
