Did some work on water lines this morning then rolled out the first round bale of hay. Parked the quad and ate my lunch just kinda hanging out with the girls. Nice way to spend some time.

No drought, just typical California summer. No chance of rain until probably November or so.
Don’t know if you all have been seeing or reading about the California wildfires but they are bad and they are to the North and to the South of us. California is a tinderbox and it’s just getting going.
 
Yes, been hearing about all the fires in California. Hope the fires don't touch your neck of the woods. Stay safe.
 
Yep, I enjoy cow company more than most people company.. the whole west is dry.. except if you try to make hay.. we ended a 104F hot spell with a thunderstorm as I had my best hay laying.. grrrr
