I have a calf/steer that is about 5 1/2 weeks old that I have been bottle feeding. I just today noticed a knot on the side of his jaw about half the size of a baseball. Is this lumpy jaw or what else could we question about it? It has been fed milk supplement, sweet feed and crushed corn. Thanking you in advance for your help. Roy P.S. What would be the recommended treatment if any?
