Lucky, a question. Direct and short. What is the nomenclature used in Veterinarian Sciences for the large artery that exits the heart (as a branch of the aortic arch) and provides systemic blood circulation to the posterior end of a Bovine? In Romerian Comparative Anatomy, the term that is used is the "dorsal aorta". This major large artery carrying oxygenated blood gives rise to numerous other large systemic arteries.
