Hi everyone I'm new to this I live in Missouri but I have a concern regarding our 2 day old calf in the corral with momma l just noticed that little guy has loose poop is this normal? I don't want to release them just yet we are having some bad weather. Thank you in advance everyone

After the meconium has passed the stool should be soft but not runny. The exception is cows with/excessive rich milk will likely have dirty butted caves. If appropriate to your area be watchful for fly strike.

You need to be more specific "loose poop" to you may be "normal poop" to us.
It should be like a loose pudding. It should NOT be like water. Colostrum works as a laxative so after the meconium passes, the stool is fairly soft.
It is great that you are observing the stool. This is usually the first indication that something is wrong. Also, just watch "body language". Are the ears sort of droopy, head down? listless? Or trying to play a little?
