Looking for 5 Solid Pairs

I've been looking around for a while for a few good cow-calf pairs, and can't quite seem to find anything that suits my needs :bang:. Anybody out there know of where I could find about 5 pairs within 100 miles of Cave City, AR. I would also consider heavy bred cows, but would prefer to buy pairs. Delivery is a must. Thanks in advance. :help:

What are your needs? I will check on some today, but they will be just a little over 100 miles from you I think it's about 115 or 120.

Just looking for some commercial cattle. I have no need for anything registered. Preferably something with a brimmer cross in it, but not full brimmer.

How about some 4 to 7 year old, brangus cows with 250lb avg calves on them, and been running back with the same or horned hereford bulls. 1700$ a pair but you might get them for a little less.

I do not own them but know who does and I think they could be bought for 1600$, the thing is the 250lb steer calves will bring 550 to 600 right now, so then you only have 1000$ in a good short bred cow. I wasn't making anything, just trying to help. At the sale Thursday good black pairs were bringing 1400$ to 1600$ but the calves were not as big, and the cows were not quite as good as the ones I was telling you about.

You'd better start looking at Longhorns or corriente.

He said it because LH would come closer to fitting your budget--just a little sarcastic I suppose, but truthful as well. $1700/pr is a little high here for something like braford or , but not much and depends on which breed and of course a lot of other things. Some higher--some less. Cattle are down some, but not that much--it's spring, grass is growing--people aren't needing to reduce their stocking rate like they were in late fall.

Don't know how far you are from Marianna, but you might send jedstivers a pm--he probably knows most of the cow folks in that part of Ark.
