great pics. can't beat that color. only thing to make those better would to make 'em heifer, and on my property. ;-)

if he doesn't turn out to be Herd Sire material, that first bull would make a gorgeous steer.
 
Thanks Ryan,

I have one unregistered cow in my herd and it's my luck that the first calf is hers. He sure has some color. I'm considering making him a steer and keeping him for a while to see how he grows out.
 
Aren't they nice looking little guys! :) Beautiful coats and bright eyes! They have healthy written all over them. :D

I think that'd be your best bet. Then if you wanted to sell him later on, he would be easier to sell as a steer versus still being a bull.
