Things were hopping here today.
Men were mowing pastures, and our hay guy got his tractor fixed and is back to cutting hay. Made a deal with a neighbor for some hay cut early in the season that will be better than what is being cut at this time on our place.
Going to sell most of our hay as we won’t be needing much this year.
Went out just before dark to check cows and calves, have some fall cows calving now.
Went on back to check the line fence.
Found a gaping hole. Praise the Lord, nothing appears to be misplaced.
I'm really thankful that our bull seems to try to keep his herd away from the fence if there's a bull on the other side.
Got the fenced patched back up.
Went back with a spotlight and tried to get atleast a rough count, they seem quiet and peaceful so hoping everything is where it should be.
Here's a couple new babies.

We currently have 6 new fall babies.
Here’s the newest one. I hadn’t seen this one yet. While got a picture of it when she was driving the truck back with panels to where I had stayed where the hole was to try tack the wire back to the surrounding posts,
This calf is supposed to be by an Angus.
Cow has some apparent Simmental in her as her mother that was black would throw red or diluted calves.
