Lim-Flex Heifer Calf: 1 hour old

Wanted to post some pictures of my new born Limousin/Angus/Charolais heifer, Dorothy! From my show heifer, Snooki. Born healthy on 11/12/11!

So what do you think? Right now, I am just in love with her little, fuzzy ears ;-) I will post pictures of her as she grows up!

Yes she did finally nurse. My heifer didn't have much milk production in her front set of teats, so I had to show Dorothy that there were others behind there. But now she is nursing great! Thank you!

Nice looking calf, and glad its doing well, If its a Lim-Flex calf Its Limousin and Angus cross, not Charolais.

Her sire is a registered Lim-Flex and her mom is 1/2 Limousin 1/4 Angus 1/4 Charolais. So Dorothy is 5/8 Limousin, 1/4 Angus, 1/8 Charolais. If I didn't have that 1/8 Char in her she could be registered as a Lim-Flex. It just makes it easier to tell people she is than have to list off all the numbers and crosses
