Last calf of 2019

Last calf of 2019. Cow was bred way late but we hung onto her and I'm glad we did. Calf has a little size to him but she spit him out like nobody's business. He's a sharp little fella.




All in all it was a pretty good year for calving. Lost a breech calf and a deformed calf. So far I'm liking some of our up and coming commercial calves. Getting ready to put CIDRs in a few of our SimX cows tomorrow.

Good looking crew. Those unexpected losses seem to happen every year. We used the CIDR implants on a group of heifers this year and from the looks of it the bull cleaned up the vast majority the first week. Good luck.
