....it is a proportion which has been recognized since ancient times. The Fibonacci series is...

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89...

and as the sequence progresses, the ratio between each successive number approaches 1.61803398.......

There are....

05 heliocentric conjunctions of Earth and Venus: 5 x 584.00 days = 2,920 days
08 orbits of the Earth around the Sun: ............8 x 365.25 days = 2,922 days
13 orbits of Venus around the Sun: ...............13 x 224.70 days = 2,921 days

Cooincidence?

A little distance measuring based upon relative orbits....

Earth = Venus ¾ * ½ ( sqrt(5) + 1 ) = 2.583306

Earth = 1.596571 * 1.618034 = 2.583306

Notice the above number 1.618034 (the GOLDEN RATIO)!

This post and the previous post are based upon Mercury being set normalized to one instead of earth. The geometric pattern is not visible by setting earth to one. However, the geometry patterns are startling if we set Mercury to one and then adjust all the other planets accordingly.

Mars = 2.037661 * 1.931852 = 3.936458

2.037661 = Mar's relative distance if setting Mercury to one instead of setting Earth to one.

Here is a screenshot of a java software program I was checking out (click to enlarge). It shows the harmonic relationship of planets without music but using the same mathematical scale. In the same token, our bodies generate a harmony, because we are made of atomic matter in the exact same way. Where you ever around an opposite sexed person and the chemistry just clicked? This is believed to be related to harmony.

Kepler was convinced "that the geometrical things have provided the Creator with the model for decorating the whole world."[54] In Harmony, he attempted to explain the proportions of the natural world—particularly the astronomical and astrological aspects—in terms of music. The central set of "harmonies" was the musica universalis or "music of the spheres," which had been studied by Pythagoras, Ptolemy and many others before Kepler; in fact, soon after publishing Harmonices Mundi, Kepler was embroiled in a priority dispute with Robert Fludd, who had recently published his own harmonic theory.[55]

Kepler began by exploring regular polygons and regular solids, including the figures that would come to be known as Kepler's solids. From there, he extended his harmonic analysis to music, meteorology and astrology; harmony resulted from the tones made by the souls of heavenly bodies—and in the case of astrology, the interaction between those tones and human souls. In the final portion of the work (Book V), Kepler dealt with planetary motions, especially relationships between orbital velocity and orbital distance from the Sun. Similar relationships had been used by other astronomers, but Kepler—with Tycho's data and his own astronomical theories—treated them much more precisely and attached new physical significance to them.[56]

Among many other harmonies, Kepler articulated what came to be known as the third law of planetary motion. He then tried many combinations until he discovered that (approximately) "The square of the periodic times are to each other as the cubes of the mean distances." However, the wider significance for planetary dynamics of this purely kinematical law was not realized until the 1660s. For when conjoined with Christian Huygens' newly discovered law of centrifugal force it enabled Isaac Newton, Edmund Halley and perhaps Christopher Wren and Robert Hooke to demonstrate independently that the presumed gravitational attraction between the Sun and its planets decreased with the square of the distance between them.[57] This refuted the traditional assumption of scholastic physics that the power of gravitational attraction remained constant with distance whenever it applied between two bodies, such as was assumed by Kepler and also by Galileo in his mistaken universal law that gravitational fall is uniformly accelerated, and also by Galileo's student Borrelli in his 1666 celestial mechanics.[58]
