Kill all Weed Killer??

We have some of the worse fields you ever saw! Place was really run down when we bought it a couple years ago. I am not up on all the weeds names but if you can have it we got it. What is some of the best weed killers that will kill the most weeds? Our pastures are mostly fescue and some native grasses.

Wanting to start this spring spraying.

Round up and Weedmaster are two I think of. You may want to let some of your grasses go dormant befor use of certain types of herbicide.

I'm not sure if you have county extension agents like we have here, but they could probably help you with your local area than people from across the country could.( No offense to anyone who's offering advice)

In my area, people spray 24D, but you have to be REAL careful with the stuff. About 5 years ago, Several hundred acres of cotton was wiped out by someone in our parish that went gung ho with 24D. I just took over 70 acres this August covered with smutgrass, and I'm still contemplating discing it all up, or spray valpar, which costs several arms and a leg.
