Kikuyu grass

Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on growing Kikuyu grass in the east coast states? I can only find reference to it being grown on the west coast, but the climate and rainfall is ideal for Kikuyu from N.C. and to the south along the coastal belt.

Thank you for the link Dun,I had a suspicion that there were restrictions on where Kikuyu can be grown, a pity though, as grazing it bulks up quickly and has an exelent quality fodder.
