A few informal photos. Not the best poses but do they look like beef cattle?
From mid-May to mid-September we only got 3.5 inches of rain. At times the tall fescue sprigs were only 3-4 inches tall and 12 to 18" apart. We had a good crop of wooly croton weeds though. They haven't had any hay and the only time they had feed was when guests wanted them to come to the back fence so they could get a closer look at them. I would rattle on the gate and dump 5-6 pounds of whole corn on the ground to be shared among them all. A sack of corn usually lasted a month or so.
OOPS!! How do I make the pictures big?
