Checking ponds now several times a day. Dry dry.. Feeding some hay, but do have some grass left in some herds.

Load of heifer's calves. Small, but did very well. This is at the new Paris barn. Very nice place. Loved that we could get on the catwalk and see our calves. Taking 2 more loads there next wednesday. Took one load to the old Paris barn saturday. Going to compare prices and then decide from there. One heifer got in with our brindle bull and produced the only red calf. As i looked at the pens of all black calves, i noticed they all had one red one. Must have been planned in the stars or something..planets all lined up, there were at least 3 pens with all black and one red. In the pen to the right with the bigger calves, you can see the red one to the left of that pen..
