Thanks for all your input guys! I sent in both of the top pics, because I agree with what everyone here said about both! I will let the association decide which one to use.
For those who thought it was too cold, you must be from the south :lol2: But in all reality, it was cold. My son NEVER likes to wear a jacket! We get after him all the time to bring one along, just in case we get stuck somewhere and we have no heat (like car problems on the side of the road or what ever!). He is hot blooded, obviously! We all had jackets near by, and threw them off to the side when we were ready, except the son! :cboy:
Yes, the Corgi does work! Ask Ron, when he was here he saw her a few times when I asked her to do something. And she is part of the family, travels with us to most places we go overnight.
The cattle were just there. Not sure what they were thinking, other than wondering why we were all out there in the pasture together, with a few strangers (the camera crew), in the middle of the snow falling! It would have been nice to take the pictures a different day, but that is the only day I could pull it all together. And the photo had to be in by Nov 21st, so this was my last weekend. The oldest daughter is hardly home, so getting a picture with all of us gets difficult.
And dad is smiling. Yes, we have teenagers, so life is full of challenges and fun at our stage. But, really, I think he looked like that because he was getting mad at the son for messing up the pictures with his goofing off. Most pics have our fun loving boy sticking his tongue out, or looking cross eyed, or crossing his hands in front of his chest.... yea, and we were cold and wanted to get it done!
