Just getting rain here this morning. My first thought was it would make the tadpoles happy. On second thought it might wash a bunch of them out on dry land. My final thought is some will die but overall a positive development for the tadpole community.

That's precisely who named them-- (same morons that changed the name of a cold front to "Polar Vortex" which all the rest of us used to just call a blue norther) ---it gives them something "sensational" to put in headlines that stream across the bottom of the screen. "Winter Storm" is just no longer eye catching enough--that, or the Yankees got jealous of the coasts having named tropical storms and hurricanes.

Just more BS. Follow the $dollars that's what is up with storm names. Back in the day you went to the weather channel to see what the weather is, or their guess on what the is going to be. Now it's all mostly BS and commercials.

I remember the last time named storms came up, a few got mad. Somebody posted a meme of a set of plastic patio furniture that had blown over. The caption was some storms name, and may we never forget. My dog wasn't in that hunt, but the meme was pretty funny.

It was blowing snow enough here this morning, that I wore my leggings on the tractor, and was proud I had a pair.
