I bought a used JD 5525. I can here hydraulic fluid moving threw the rear remotes constantly. The remote (and oil) gets very hot. Has anyone has this happen or does anyone know how to stop this?

This seems impossible are you running an orbit motor or something with a bypass? In order for oil to flow thru the remote, it must be completing the circuit somehow.

I had a similar problem. JD replaced both rears and the problem went away. Turns out that they had a bad batch of remotes that leaked bakc on themselves.

Does it even when nothing is hooked up. Dun what year was your tractor?
That;s the way mine was and didn;t have any power when something was connected. Could barely lift a 12 foot disc. That was on my new tractor, 2011
