Looking 2008 model with 1300 hrs. on it and a loader. 2 Wheel Dr. and canopy looks pretty good clean and dry. Is there anything to watch for on these? What is it worth? Will it handle a 4 x 5 round bale OK ?

yes it should handle a 4 by 5 or 4 by 6 bale with ease.im not that good on jd hp.but that tractor should be a 50 or 55hp.since its 2wd drive id say its worth $15000.

55 HP is what I found, they are a little better than that on price.

I have one just like it. We have had it for 5 years or so with no problems. I think we gave 16000$ for ours with around 800hours on it. It will handle 4-5 rolls ok as long as u have one on the back when I have one on the front going down hill. In the winter time there kinda hard to get around in the mud and snow so it's not a great feeding tractor. Also on ours they has the wheels set to the narrowest width so I set them out farther and it made a huge difference. Over all Iam pretty happy with ours for what we use it for if it was four wheel drive it would be a lot better.

Thanks for your input, I would not plan on feeding with it unless the other tractor goes down.

Looked at that site so much in the last few months, you would think I had it memorized.

Not what your asking about but really big dairy down the road has 6603 with 21000 hours. That has not been opened up. Pretty impressive to me.

What part of Southern Ky are you in?

Barren-Metcalfe county line. Just north east of Glasgow 10 miles or so. You?
Butler County, near Morgantown. I knew Barren County still had several dairies, a real big one in Logan County.
