A question for you Tejas folks. What has become of your old ag commisioner? I know he used to have a radio show, but haven't heard much of him lately.

How in the hell did Jim Hightower ever become the Texas AG commisioner? He didnt even have a farm background. I have read a couple of his books and he is too far to the left and much too cozy with the Jesse Jackson crowd for me. He does expose a lot of the truth about the excessive corporate influence over the major parties though. He is like a Texas fried Micheal Moore.

A good question a lot of us are still wondering about. He's a friendly, likeable speaker in a Bill Clinton sort of way. I think the urban vote bought into his line of BS, best I recall. No other explanation. I sure as Hell didn't vote for him!
