There's a JD2755 for sale around here, no mention of hours, cab and FEL, new rear tires.. price is decent..
Wondering what to look out for on these, and what you think of them
 
Hydraulics can be a major issue on those. Also improper Hydraulic fluid can destroy the brakes and cause havoc in the rear end. If proper antifreeze and conditioner hasn't been used there can be pitting in the wet sleeve cylinders. If it has been well maintained with proper fluid a lot of hours are not a problem. A neighbor has one north of 10k hours still going with a couple clutch rebuilds.
 
We have a feeling there was a typo on the price,.. Price was 15K, and it seems like the going price for those is 25K, so it's either a wreck needing more work or a typo
 
Or its a good deal you never know. Couple months back I picked up a clean low hour ford TW-5 II for a song off CL. Add had no phone number just an email so I sent an email right away (thinking in my head it was too good to be true and a scam wanting me to send a check to Nigeria etc.) and he replied with a phone number and I was there ASAP with cash in hand. Never hurts to ask
 
The place I take care of has had a 2755 for probably 10 years. It's been a good tractor. Noting out of the ordinary. It's some kind of orchard series or some thing so it's not as tall as usual. I pull a 12' disk and 15' batwing with it. We paid like $22K for it at the time with around 2000hrs. Has a cab, loader, 2wd.
 
I have a 2755 and it has been nothing but a money drain. Replaced the clutch (twice) and the slave cylinder for the clutch (twice). All four times it's a tractor split. Replaced the A/C (twice), steering cylinder rebuild and now it acts like the neutral safety switch is bad. Tractor is made in Germany so make sure you get the right parts when working on it.

It wasn't a MFWD (it was my dad's assumption), so it would have been a duplication of our IH 684.. for 15K there's tons of loader tractors out there.
Fellow was really nice to talk to though, spend an hour talking to him on the phone about everything under the sun
