Anyone here have one? I'm looking at a 2008 4wd with 1900hrs on it. 91hp with 542 loader and cab. Price is $35000.

I'd be trading our 2000 5410 4wd with 1023hrs on it. I'm figuring I'd have to give around $15k boot?
 
Price sounds about right. We have a 5510 cab, loader, fwd. This is the same size as you are looking at, but two series older. It is hard to beat this size tractor for a beef operation. It has enough hp to pull most any impliment, but not so big and heavy that you sink up feeding in the winter.
 
Price seems about right. Not sure what the trade difference would be with so many different variables on those. If you don't have one now try to find one that has the power reverser trans. They are the cats a?? on a loader tractor. A lot of the 5525s had them. Good tractors and you should be happy with it.
 
I'm also looking at a 5083e but its an '11 model and about 4k higher.

Found a NH TD95D with 350hrs for 37k also.
 
We've been very happy with 5525. We were a little hesitant to go from 10k pound 85hp 2wd down to the 5525, but have had no regrets. I agree with others. Get the power reverser.

I agree with the previous posters. I helped a neighbor a couple years back. Ran a 5525 all day, weeks at a time with a 15' batwing. It's a nice tractor.

New Holland sounds a lot cheaper. What model New Holland compares with the "M" and "E" series John Deere's?
 
I don't know that for a 300 hr. tractor $37k is high especially if it has a loader. I have a TL90 NH and it's a nice tractor that's well built. I don't know how a TD model compares. Biggest difference I see between it and the Deere tractors are mechanical shuttle & hydraulic flow. Both good tractors but I like the Deere a little better.
 
We have loader on 5525 and also have TL90 2wd. I like the TL90, but I would not like a loader on it. The visibility out the front window is much worse than 5525. All the ac controls are in the way. I don't know if that was changed on the TD models.
