Well, I lost 3 cows in the last 2 years, 2 were great cows and it wasn't expected at all..

You should have been around here when we started out!.. out of 12 cows we lost 1 cow, another had a prolapse, 3 dead calves and 1 broke it's leg... that was just at calving time.. then came the summer, where we lost 2 cows to summer pneumonia, the next spring we lost 2 calves to scours, and 2 cows more cows to pneumonia.

Hope your cows smarten up! I know it sucks, but you know there's a bright side to this.. you're making everyone else feel better about their problems!

bwaahhaa..thanks alot. yeah i wasnt trying to get any pity...just seems like it would be th natural thing for the naimals to do..yet it really isnt just that simple..jus sayin...i like it. i like watchin em from the proch with a beer. herd gets bigger every yr. it aint all bad....but its dang sure havin its moments

its my other full time job..beside working 6 10 hr days 35 mi away..one i like..the other not so much
