I think the Westminster Dog Show is way more wholesome than most TV today. It's funny how I seem to enjoy it more every year. I doubt I've ever seen more than the finish most years but it's allways fun in a strange way. I swear the chick handling one of the dogs put the "treat" in her mouth then fed it to the dog....;(. What's up with the treats anyway as they show?

He was a Champion for sure but I bet if you rolled him out if a wagon into some Ga pines he wouldn't lead the band. I sure like those German pointers.

I just like bird dogs. I don't really care what they look like. The one exception for me is a Weimaraner......never seen a good one yet and the last one i hunted with was a chickenshyt sneak attacker. Funny how unsteady he got after colliding with a 12 ga benelli butstock!

They are my least favorite as well. Won't say all, but everyone of them I've came across seem pretty much... mental. That can happen in every breed, but they sure seem to be proud of it. My theory is that it's kinda like limo's used to be, somebody started with some bad stock and then just kept going.

And I'm pretty partial to German Short Hair Pointers, which is mixed in there. And that may even be where it came from, as there are some goofy ones I've met as well- just not ALL of them.

My hunting partner has a Drathaar. He is an amazing dog. I have hunted with countless GSH's and even owned a couple. They are good but this dog is amazing. Hunts everything from Peasants to Geese. I watched him run over 100yds with a huge greater canadian in his mouth last saturday. I will try to post a picture of him.

Personally i am a Lab guy. They suit me better!
