Is anyone in Tennessee renting out pasture for northern cattle owners to over winter cows?
Most of the people I know that are doing this live more south and west. They grow corn or soy in the summer and lease fealds on a gain basis. I was thinking I could stockpile extra grass and sublet the winter pasture until I owned the cattle needed to use the extra land.
I am planning on renting land this spring, I am just starting out and and not sure how much land I will need and how fast I will outgrow it.
At this point I am trying to sort out ways to rent more land and sub-let untill I can grow into it.
