Ok yall help me, cause I know I am the insensitive type, but here goes. If officials tell you to leave your property because you are in danger and you choose not to, should you expect the law to come rescue your sorry butt. If your gonna "John Wayne it " shouldnt you be man enough to suffer the outcome.

Just tired of seeing people having to put there life in danger to rescue knuckleheads.

All kinds of emotions and attitudes come to mind. I had two nephews go in to NO after Katrina. Both had their helicopters shot. They told some stories of what they experienced with victims.

Then again, when the brush fires were raging last year they blocked me from getting to the farm. I wanted to disc some fire break, move the Caterpillar into position, stage the sprayer, move the cows. Wound up going cross country to get there. So you could say I am one of those people myself.

Agree with you completely HC...I'd rather let them sit on the roof and bake than send good folks in to pull them down and take care of them until they can do it again.

Around here most evacuations are for wildfires and folks are told at the time of notification that we will assist them leaving now but will not dedicate resources to protecting them if they don't leave and we won't be back to check. Now or never is the policy.

why would I waste my vote for a guy who is not in the race in reality and hand the election over to Obama????

Paul did not get nominated....by a wide margin.....
yet his supporters continue to push for him....
this upcoming election is the most important in my life time.....
because I consider obummer to be the incarnation of evil.
four more years of Obama would be the end of this country as we have known it.....
it is time for all who are not obamaphiles
to shut up ...stand up....get behind Romney and Ryan and PUSH...... not create roadblocks.

I recall Ross Poroit who was the darling of many, handing the white house to Clinton not once but twice....

by comparison to obummer clinton was a great president and I never agree with a thing he did.....
