He's numbered up pretty good. Decient top on him. And fairly clean fronted.

I don't know much about the angus pedigrees, but I don't figger the New design on that bottom side will hurt ya any.

If the price is right and you like the way he moves and his mamma has a top notch udder...have at him!!!

I spose I should elaborate. The Kruggerand genetics in him will give him growth and predictability, the new design mom should give him fleshing and udder quality genetics. He is a little post legged but that may be the picture also... he looks pretty good for 5 months old!!!

I looked at his sire Krugerand 410H to use on one of my heifers. (Decided to go a little smaller in BW) LaGrand Angus uses him as a herd sire. BW EPD was a +1.0, His yearling EPD was over 110, and the height was +1.0, with I think a +1.25 for scrotal. He is a nice framey bull, with an awsome top line. Add the maternal from the new design, and I think you'd have a pretty great bull.

He looks real good for only being 5 mths old, I would have guessed him older then that. If the money is right and you have the time and space to grow him out right I would go for it!

I really like his YW, but his BW would mean you would have to pick the cows you bred to him if you were planning on keeping the heifers. If I were intending to keep any heifers out of him, I would go as low as I could with the BW on the dam, but I know you are aware of that. But if you were breeding him to seasoned cows for commercial sale, then I would grab him. He is one of those that you just gotta have but there's only one thing that makes you think before you do. I like the research that Jake and Dee gave on him. That's a real positive that he is an easy flesher which means more dollars in the pocket as far as the feed bill goes. He does look really nice for his age. If you purchase him, I hope you will post more pictures of him as he grows.

Nice looking bull. I pay attention to the numbers up to a point but they have to pass the visual test for me to buy them. Nice looking animal. I'd pick him up if the price was right.

You look at weights reported on his siblings, half siblings, aunts, uncles, etc., figure in the heritability estimates of all the traits, run those figures through a big computer, and come out with either EPDs or Interim EPDs. The accuracy of the EPDs may not be high, but according to experts, EPDs are the best tool available to evaluate a bull today.

He's a chunk for five months old. What does he weigh now?
